#39: 3 Mindsets Every Christian Entrepreneur Needs for Breakthrough

October 3, 2026

FOR THE KINGDOM WOMAN WHO BELIEVES GOD SAID IT, BUT CAN’T SEEM TO STAY STANDING LONG ENOUGH TO SEE IT COME TO PASS…

You believe God for this business He called you to build.

You’ve declared it out loud. You’ve prayed over it. You’ve written it in your journal and vision boarded all about it.

So why does it keep falling apart somewhere in the middle?

Sister, here’s the thing nobody tells you: The enemy stopped going after your faith directly a long time ago. He’s going hard after your mindset nonstop instead.

Because if he can get in there and shift what you think a thing means, your faith moves without you ever noticing it happened. You’re still saying you believe. You’re just not acting fully like it anymore.

Jesus settled the issue in Matthew 11:19 when He said wisdom is proved right by her children. Wisdom is applied knowledge, and we only ever apply what we actually believe will work.

So your actions are the receipt. Not your declarations. Which means your mindsets are not a soft topic. They’re the hinge.

Finish the Sentence

I say this to you constantly: If God said it, that settles it.

And I’ve watched women take that halfway and then get stuck there. Because here’s what happens when the timeline stretches out and you get tired and offended and disappointed…

You start to argue. God said it, so why isn’t it here? Why do I have to work this hard? If He really loved me, He’d just make it happen.

That’s a lie, and it’s a specific one. It tells you that you believe, if God really loved you He’d see how exhausted you are and hand it over. But grace isn’t make-it-happen sparkly juice. Grace is power. It’s the empowerment of God to do the thing you could not do on your own, and it still requires you to pick it up and move.

So let’s finish the sentence properly:

If God said it, that settles it. Now go move in accordance with it.

Now camp your life around it. Now walk in obedience to it. That’s the full paradigm.

When God wants something for you, He offers it as a faith point and He provides the grace for it. What you do with that is your business.

Failure Is Information, Not a Life Sentence

Before I name the three mindsets, I need this settled in you: Proverbs 24:16 says, A righteous person falls seven times and gets back up. Seven. Not zero.

So when you fall off one of these mindsets, and you will, don’t you dare read it as proof that the mindset doesn’t work. That’s backwards. The mindset didn’t fail. You failed in that moment, and failing is not the same as being a failure.

Failure is information. It tells you there was a weak point, you got tired, you took the bait, and you picked something else. Because that’s the mechanism.

These three mindsets each occupy a specific spot in your thinking, and the opposite thing cannot live there at the same time. If one of them is missing, something took its place.

So you do what 2 Corinthians 10:5 tells you: Take the thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. Hand the faulty mindset back to Jesus and receive the right one in exchange, because He is the God of exchange. That’s Isaiah 61.

Then get back up.

Mindset One: Steadfastness

Isaiah 50:7. The Lord God helps me, therefore I have not been disgraced. Therefore I have set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame.

Some people call this faithfulness. I don’t, because we’ve made faithfulness into something soft and floaty. I’m being faithful because I’m believing.No. Faithful means your actions line up with what you said you believed. It’s integrity to the word of God.

So I call it steadfastness, because steadfastness has a spine. Now notice the first half of that verse, because we skip it. The Lord God helps me. You are not standing there on your own strength. He’s the one holding you up, and that’s exactly why you’re not disgraced.

Then comes your part. Therefore I have set my face like flint. That’s a decision. You choose where your gaze goes, and where your gaze goes is where your feet follow. And I love that it’s flint specifically, because flint sparks. So everything that comes against me just strikes the stone and throws off the fire I needed anyway.

Here’s how the enemy comes at this one: He convinces you that your feelings are more real than the truth, and that they need addressing more urgently than your feet need to stay planted. That doesn’t mean you ignore what you feel. It means you corral it and bring it to the Lord instead of letting it drive.

Set your face. Don’t let the disappointment and the frustration and the despair move you off the thing God said.

Mindset Two: Consistency

Galatians 6:9. Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up.

Now I know the productivity world treats consistency as pure action, and I love that. But every one of these mindsets is a be before it’s a do, and you cannot do consistently if you aren’t first being consistently.

So what does it mean to be consistent? It means you hold your identity without wobbling. If God said this is who you are, you practice standing in that, and you refuse to say anything out of your mouth that violates it.

Don’t let your feelings ooze out of your mouth. Pucker. 🤐

I am someone who consistently speaks truth. I am someone who consistently speaks the word of God. I am someone who fears God and not man.

And here’s something beautiful. The root of “I am” in Exodus connects to the word for beacon. So every time you declare who you are in Him, you’re deciding what light you’re going to throw. Once your identity is consistent, consistent behavior gets easy. If you can’t hold the identity, the enemy has a playground.

Now let me say the hard part. I know you’re exhausted. The enemy is wearing you out on purpose, and Daniel 7:25 says that’s exactly his play against the saints. But being tired does not entitle you to throw a tantrum. I say that to myself, so I’m good to say it to you.

Because a child who throws herself into the street during a tantrum still gets hit by the car. There are consequences to behavior regardless of why you did it. God will love you through every mistake you ever make. That has never been in question. It just doesn’t cancel the harvest of what you sowed.

So choose well. Then choose it again tomorrow.

Mindset Three: Resilience

2 Corinthians 4:8-9. Afflicted in every way, but not crushed. Perplexed, but not driven to despair. Persecuted, but not forsaken. Struck down, but not destroyed.

Every one of those is a choice, and here’s the picture I use. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit, so think of yourself as a container. The world is pressure pressing in on the outside of you. The peace of God is pressure inside.

As long as the peace inside is one pound per square inch greater than the pressure coming from the outside, you can be afflicted and not crushed. One more. That’s the margin.

Perplexed but not in despair works the same way. You’re allowed to ask how this is even happening. Just take the question to God and ask for His perspective rather than answering it yourself.

Hebrews tells us the blood of Jesus speaks a better word. So if you’re bleeding out from something that terrorized you, that blood is speaking despair and death over you. There’s another blood speaking something better, and you get to listen to that one instead.

Persecuted but not forsaken. People will betray you and walk away. One won’t. Ever. Struck down but not destroyed. God isn’t pretending you’re not under attack. He’s telling you it isn’t the end of the line.

Resilience says I have another move.

You Cannot Feel Your Way Into Any of This

Here’s where most women lose it. They wait to feel steady. Wait to feel ready. Wait to feel like it’s possible.

Sister, if you try to feel your way to these mindsets, you are toast. You’re the enemy’s snack. So write this down: It is going to feel impossible when you go to install one of these. Underline it twice.

And then remember what Jesus said in Matthew 19:26: With man it is impossible. With God, nothing is. That means it isn’t just possible. If you ask Him for help, it’s probable.

That Door Is a Hologram

People love to say everything you ever wanted is on the other side of fear. That’s nonsense. Sure, the enemy parks fear at the gate of the thing God has for you. Of course he does. That’s his best strategy.

But fear is not the indicator, and it is not the door. The breakthrough is on the other side of trust and obedience. That’s it.

You’ve been staring at what looks like a massive iron door, bolted and guarded and impossible. And in the spirit, it’s a little girl’s hollow-core bedroom door with a flower on it and a knob that doesn’t even lock.

You know those Christmas projectors that throw a whole different texture onto the front of a house? That’s all he’s been doing. Running a light show on a door you could have opened this whole time.

So change your mind. Ephesians 2 says you’re seated with Christ in heavenly places, so go sit there and ask Him how it looks from where He’s sitting. And yes, you’ll still have days where you wake up and choose violence. 😅 It happens. Repent, get back on the horse, and remember the truth never moved.

Steadfastness. Consistency. Resilience.

Those are the gems in the crown you already wear as a daughter of the King. Put them on your mind and start watching the Kingdom show up in front of you.
