#22: The Kingdom Business Movement for the Godly Woman Ready to Build

May 9, 2026

This is for the Kingdom building woman who’s been carrying a calling that won’t leave her alone.

She has a conviction to build something that makes real impact and real income for Jesus and His Kingdom. And she KNOWS it. But something keeps getting in the way.

If that’s you, this episode of the Jesus Girl Gang Kingdom Business Podcast was recorded with you in mind.

In Episode 22, I’m not teaching a framework. I’m making a declaration about what God put on my life, who He told me to build it for, and what’s been keeping ambitious, faith-driven women from breaking through to actually build the Kingdom businesses they’ve been called to.

Are You a Breaker, a Pioneer, and a Leader?

Before we get into the breakdown, I want to ask you something. Do you consider yourself a generational breaker?

Someone God has marked to step into things and break strongholds off your life and the lives of those who come after you? Micah 2:13 tells us that Jesus, the King, is the Breaker. He goes before us and opens the breach. And you are a little-b breaker holding onto the hem of His robe.

Are you a pioneer? The kind of woman who says, “Even if there’s no beaten path, if God told me to go, I’m going.” That’s the spirit of Caleb. Everyone else was too scared to enter the Promised Land. Not Caleb. He raised up a family of giant killers and waited 40 years for his mountain.

Are you a leader? You know you have to go first. You know you have to set the pattern.

If you said yes to any of those, this episode is for you. Because when you’re a breaker, a pioneer, and a leader, God uses conviction to get you out in front. And that conviction is exactly where the enemy tries to take you out.

Why the Weight of Your Calling Feels So Heavy

Here’s what I’ve learned through 10+ years of building my own Kingdom business and coaching hundreds of women through theirs: the calling and the conviction are both from God.

They’re designed to work together inside your purpose. The conviction is the fire that keeps you moving. The calling is the weight of responsibility that keeps you dependent on God.

But here’s where it breaks down. When the weight of the calling sits long enough without being addressed, the enemy sows lies into it. “Maybe I heard God wrong.” “Maybe I’m being selfish.” “Maybe it’s not my season.” “I should be able to figure this out.”

That is not the weight of God’s calling crushing you. That is the weight of assigning incorrect meaning to your calling. Your calling was never meant to break your purpose or put out the fire of your conviction. The weight is there to keep you dependent on God, not to take you out.

Isaiah 30:21 says, “And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it.'” That voice hasn’t stopped. The conviction hasn’t left. The question is what you do with the weight.

How to Take Every Thought Captive as a Kingdom Entrepreneur

This is where 2 Corinthians 10:5 became a marching order in my business: “Take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ.”

Not some thoughts. Every thought. The thoughts that feel responsible but aren’t from God? Captive. The ones that sound like wisdom but are actually fear wearing conviction’s clothes? Captive. The lie that says “I have to figure this out on my own”? Captive.

I built a tool for this called the Thought Exchange Worksheet. It walks you through the process:

  • Identify the lie or fear you’ve been believing.
  • Find what God actually says in His Word.
  • Pray the exchange, and practice believing the truth.

It’s inside the free Kingdom Builder’s Mindset Toolkit and it’s the single most important starting point I give every woman I work with.

Because here’s the truth: you cannot build a Kingdom business on a foundation of fear. You have to exchange those thoughts before you can build with conviction.

God Never Said “Figure It Out” — He Said Trust Me, Listen to Me, Obey Me

This was a game-changer for me and it’s the second major piece I break down in the episode. Nowhere in Scripture does God say “figure it out.” Not once. What He says is listen, trust, and obey. Everywhere. Over and over.

But high-capacity, ambitious, high-performance women default to figuring it out because we’re capable. And capable women treat self-reliance like it’s a virtue when it’s actually a trap.

Think about King Saul. He was called to be king. Samuel told him to wait. But Saul couldn’t wait. He got impatient, made the sacrifice himself, took matters into his own hands. And it cost him his anointing, his peace, his mind, and eventually his life (1 Samuel 13, 15). That’s the fruit of “I’ll figure it out myself.”

Contrast that with Moses in Exodus 18. He’s wearing himself out judging the people from morning to evening. His father-in-law Jethro walks in, watches for one day, and says, “What you are doing is not good. You will surely wear yourself out. This is too heavy for you. You cannot do it alone.” Then Jethro gives Moses a pattern for delegation. Share the weight. Appoint leaders.

The lesson? You were never asked to figure it out on your own. And you were never told to carry it by yourself

I built the 4 Questions Prayer Template for this exact moment. Four questions to bring into your prayer life when you don’t know your next step:

  • God, what do You see and say about this?
  • God, what does this mean for me?
  • God, who have You made me to be in this?
  • God, what’s my next best step?

The Luke 8 Women: The Original Kingdom Business Builders

Luke 8:1-3 is the scripture that anchors this entire movement we are building together here inside The Jesus Girl Gang community.

Jesus traveled proclaiming the Kingdom. The twelve were with Him. And also some women: Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Susanna, and many others who provided for Jesus’s ministry out of their own means.

These women were not on the sidelines. They were activated, resourced, and moving with the mission. They funded the ministry of Jesus from their own substance. They were marketplace ministers before that phrase existed.

A Jesus Girl is a Luke 8 woman. She makes impact and income. She builds for the Kingdom without compromising on her faith, family, health, or sanity. She is a breaker and a beacon. A pioneer and a disruptor. A minister and a leader in the marketplace.

Deuteronomy 8:18 says, “Remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the power to get wealth.” Wealth-building is not worldly ambition. It is Kingdom assignment.

Why I Built This Movement (And What Exists Now)

I spent 20+ years in process engineering, corporate tax accounting, and implementation strategy at a Fortune 500 company.

My job was to find what’s broken, build the system to fix it, teach the team to implement it, test it, improve it, and relaunch it.

That operating system came with me when I left corporate. But when I tried to build my own Kingdom business, I was doing the exact thing I just preached about: trying to figure it out on my own. Building alone. Looking for a community of women like this and not finding one.

I quit four times. The fifth time, God gave me a pattern. And then He told me to build the room I’d been looking for. Here’s what exists now:

The Kingdom Builder Movement (BUILD with Faith Movement): The mission. Gathering ambitious, faith-driven women who are called to build businesses that make impact and income for Jesus and His Kingdom. This podcast is part of it.

The Jesus Girl Gang Community: The sisterhood. Women who are actually building, not just dreaming. Shoulder to shoulder, one hand building, one hand fighting (Nehemiah 4).

The Jesus Girl’s Business Blueprint (BUILD with Faith Framework): The pattern. Exodus 25:9 says, “Build according to the pattern I will give you.” God gives patterns. He gave Moses the tabernacle pattern. He gave Noah the ark pattern. He gave me a build pattern for Kingdom businesses: Mindset, Offer, Audience, Sales, Systems. With coaching from me every step of the way.

The Kingdom Business Studio: The platform. An all-in-one business and marketing system so you’re not duct-taping six different tools together. Our tool is integrated, supported and simple.

My students consistently say, “I’m further along in 2 months than I was in 6 years.” That’s not me being clever. That’s what happens when a capable woman finally gets the pattern, the support, and the environment she’s been missing.

Frequently Asked Questions About Kingdom Business Building

What is a Kingdom business? A Kingdom business is a business built by a believer with the dual purpose of making income and expanding the Kingdom of God. It’s not ministry masquerading as business or business ignoring faith. It’s both, integrated, by design.

Do I need business experience to start a Kingdom business? No. Most of the women I work with are first-generation entrepreneurs. What you need is conviction, a willingness to follow a pattern, and the right environment to build in. The BUILD with Faith Framework walks you through every step.

What is the BUILD with Faith Framework? It’s the five-step business building pattern I teach inside the Jesus Girl’s Business Blueprint: Mindset, Offer, Audience, Sales, Systems. It’s rooted in the biblical principle that God gives patterns for building (Exodus 25:9).

If you want to experience an intro to this framework with me live, I’m teaching it during the Jesus Girl’s Business Launch Lab the week of June 14th. Hop on the waitlist to be notified when registration opens 👉 ericapyle.com/waitlist

What is the Kingdom Builder’s Mindset Toolkit? It’s a free downloadable toolkit containing two foundational tools: the Thought Exchange Worksheet (for taking lies and fears captive using 2 Corinthians 10:5) and the 4 Questions Prayer Template (for hearing God’s direction on your next step). These are the first two tools I use with every woman I coach.
