Are you a Christian who feels like God’s Word isn’t working for you?
Listen, we’re going to say the quiet parts out loud on this episode of the Positioned to Prosper podcast because it’s vital to identify this surreptitious lie and pull it out at the roots. According to Isaiah 55:11, God’s Word *always* works and it never returns void, so it’s time to press into God to find out why we aren’t having that “always producing” experience in our real lives.
I’m going to share the main reason why, I believe, we aren’t experiencing God’s Word working for us, and then I’ll highlight three ways the culture in the current day Church has allowed this lie and resulting experience to run rampant. Finally, I’ll share three things you must be convicted of if you’re going to see your perspective and experience with God’s Word shift, to ultimately see God’s Word working abundantly in your life.
So are you ready? Let’s dig in and get real! Grab your Bible, your journal and a pen, and . . . Let’s Go!

Scripture References Mentioned in This Episode:
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
