“I’m doing every spiritual thing I know to do, but I’m still feeling overwhelmed, stuck and like it’s just not working.”

Has this ever been your experience? You are going to every church service and event, listening to every message you can get your ears on, and joining every Bible study and discipleship group you can squeeze into your schedule, and yet . . . it’s *still* not working. In fact, you feel more overwhelmed and stuck than you felt before you started all these “good habits.” What’s going on?

In this episode of the Positioned to Prosper podcast I’m going to uncover a lesser known “pandemic” that’s hit the Church called *consumerism,* where we think if we just consume more “good stuff” — more messages, more meetings, more books, more lists of things to do right — that we will finally become enlightened and step into peace and flow. The truth is, it’s in our pouring out — in giving, serving and applying the truth we’ve received — that we will truly get “unstuck.” Then we will see the provision of God begin to flow abundantly and our life finally come into order.

We’ll cover the three ways this consumerism mindset tries to take us out, and then I’ll give you two practical things you can do immediately (and consistently) to avoid this pitfall, so you can keep cruising in the flow God has for you, with peace and joy and breakthrough all along the way.
