How much time and energy do you waste worrying about what other people are thinking about you?
Whether it’s something that someone says out loud, or something that you only think someone else is thinking about you, it’s vital to know how to handle these sorts of thoughts as they are presented to you. You can’t let them run on the hamster wheel of your mind unchecked, or you’ll wind up overwhelmed, hypervigilant and burned out all the time. That’s no way to live. So what’s the alternative?
On this episode of the Positioned to Prosper podcast we’re going to be talking about why it’s so vital to guard your heart with all diligence (which includes deciding rightly which thoughts you’ll allow yourself to meditate on), and I’ll be sharing three strategies you can implement starting today to reduce the amount of time you spend reacting to what other people think about you. We’ll also get into the difference between *reacting* and *responding* and I’ll show you how to respond in the situations where God calls you to do so — the way Jesus did.
So are you ready? This is a powerful episode with some very practical strategies. Grab your Bible, your journal and a pen, and . . . Let’s Go!
