So will you? And are you clear on what it means to truly seek His Kingdom and Righteousness?
It’s vital that we learn how to stand on the Word of God and keep standing — no matter what — if we’re going to have a different experience that the world as we walk through these weighty times. It’s in having this different experience by faith that creates the beacon sound coming off our lives that helps others to see what is on offer as we choose to follow Jesus and trust him with our lives. So, are you ready to be a real minister of reconciliation?
To be salt and light in this season is going to require a Church that is passionate about taking God at his word and relentlessly holding on, even through the “eleventh hour.” If we fail to do so, we wills succumb to a destructive abortion spirit that seeks to devour God’s seed before it can fully come to fruition. In this episode we’ll be talking about how to receive the word and promises of God into good soil, and how to stay standing on what He’s said in faith, no matter what, to see God’s provision and protection manifest around us even in the toughest of times.
Scripture References mentioned in this episode:
Matthew 6:25-33 —
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Numbers 13 & 14 —
The Account of the Spies in the Land
Mark 4:34-40 —
On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, “Let us go across to the other side.” And leaving the crowd, they took him with them in the boat, just as he was. And other boats were with him. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling. But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?” And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?” And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
Jeremiah 1:12 —
Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over my word to perform it.”
