FOR THE KINGDOM WOMAN WHO WANTS TO MAKE REAL MONEY IN HER BUSINESS AND CAN’T SHAKE THE FEELING THAT SHE SHOULDN’T WANT IT… 

You want this God-inspired business to work. Not just “cover a few bills” work.  

You want the kind of results and revenue that changes what your family gets to do, what your church gets to fund, what your kids inherit. That is the desire of your heart for this business. 

And then, it shows up…  

That quiet little voice inside that says: Should I really want this? Is it okay that I want this much? 

Sister, let’s settle the issue before we go one step further. Because that voice is not God, and it’s not serving you. Not in any way.

The Question That Has to Get Settled First 

Let’s start here: Do you believe that God gives you the power to make wealth? 

Not “Do you believe God gives people, in general, the power to make wealth.” Not your pastor. Not the woman on Instagram with the funnel that’s working. 

You. Do you believe God have given you the power to make wealth?

Your yes or your no matters more than you think, because one of them lines up with the Word of God, and the other one doesn’t. There’s a whole faction out there that would love for you to believe that wanting to make wealth means you’re greedy. Less than holy. Stepping outside your role as a woman and a wife. 

That’s a lie, and Deuteronomy 8:18 dismantles it. God says it is He who gives you power to get wealth, and then He tells you exactly why He does it… that He may confirm His covenant. Sit in that “so that” for a second, because it changes everything.

God doesn’t give us the ability to make wealth to provide for ourselves. He gives us the ability to make wealth so that we show the world what it looks like to be connected to the real and all powerful God.

You are meant to be a signal fire set on a hill. A trophy of His grace. A billboard for what’s possible when a human being is genuinely connected to the Most High God. That’s the point of wealth. 

Wealth Is Not Provision 

I know. Read it again. 

Wealth and provision are two different things, and almost every knot you have around money comes loose the moment you separate them. 

Provision is God meeting the need. He designed a man to work and provide for his family, and even that is God’s provision moving through His own design. Wealth is something else entirely. Wealth is an anointing, an empowerment He puts inside you so that you become proof in the earth. 

Which means this, Sis. Your ability to make wealth has zero power to invalidate your husband’s role as provider.

I hear this sentiment a lot in Christian women’s circles: “My husband is supposed to be the provider, so I guess I’m just supposed to stay home and not make money.” 

That only makes sense if you believe wealth exists to provide. It doesn’t. Wealth exists to testify. 

And when we walk around embracing lack and poverty like it’s holiness, we’re wearing a name that doesn’t belong to our Father. His name is not Lack. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills and He makes something out of nothing for a living.

Where Scripture Puts a Woman in the Marketplace 

Two passages settle this. One from each Testament.

Start with Proverbs 31:10-31. We hold her up as the godly daughter, wife, mother, and friend, and then we skip right past the fact that she’s a godly entrepreneur. Now look at who she’s married to. Proverbs 31 opens with King Lemuel, which makes this woman the wife of a king.

A king owns everything in the kingdom. So if wealth were about provision, what on earth is a queen doing out in these entrepreneurial streets?  She takes the surplus from her household into the marketplace. She evaluates a field, buys it with her own earnings, and makes it produce.

She had no financial reason to be out there. She went anyway. 

Then there’s the New Testament. Luke 8:1-3 tells us Jesus traveled town to town preaching, accompanied by the twelve and by certain women who supported the ministry out of their own substance. That word is the same word we’ve been talking about. These women funded the earthly ministry of Jesus with wealth they generated. 

God has always put women in the marketplace on purpose. 

Faith Keeps You in Position 

Now, here’s where it gets practical… 

You walk by faith and not by sight. And when you insist on walking by sight, you take yourself out of position. Position matters more than most of us realize. Study where God provides in Scripture and you’ll notice He’s always specific about the place.

There was a ram caught in a thicket, right there on the mountain, at the exact moment Abraham needed it. Jacob laid his head on a stone at a certain place and heaven opened over him. Provision shows up at a connection point. God wants you to know that you need Him for it.

So when it feels like nothing is coming through, that’s your cue to check your position. Not to check your effort. Walking by sight locks you into three dimensions. Faith is the fourth one, and it’s the only way to operate above what your natural eyes can verify.

The Three Lies 

You can believe something in your head and still be blocked in your heart. And Proverbs tells us the issues of life flow out of the heart, not the head. 

So let’s name what’s actually sitting in there: 

Lie one: wanting wealth is greedy. God told Abraham “I have blessed you to be a blessing.” When the accusation comes, you answer it with that. The more blessed you are, the more you have to pour out.

Lie two: wanting wealth makes you less holy. This one gets anchored by teaching that Jesus was poor. He was the suffering servant of Isaiah 53, and He was poor in spirit. He was not poor in wealth.

Read the Christmas story again. Royal envoys came from the East to worship a newborn king, and rulers visiting rulers do not arrive with little gift bags. They came with caravans. Gold, frankincense, and myrrh at a scale meant to establish the political weight of the kingdoms sending them.

How wealthy do you think that baby was at days old? Wealthy enough that some historians believe it funded the family for years and eventually funded the mission. 

Lie three: this isn’t for women. Proverbs 31 and Luke 8 already settled that one. Making wealth doesn’t make you unwomanly. It makes you aligned.

You’re Not Waiting on the Offer to Pop 

If God called you to build and launch and scale in these internet streets, hear me: You are not waiting on the offer to finally convert. You are not waiting on the audience to gather, or the algorithm to notice you, or your fifteen seconds of influencer fame. 

God already put the ability inside you. What’s left is belief, declaration, and then one question: God, how do You want to do that today?

His answer may not look linear. He might say meditate on this verse, or give this away, and you’ll think that has nothing to do with making wealth. 

Trust Him anyway. He has peculiar ways of walking out His promises in you, especially if you don’t look capable to the world. Because then the only available answer is God.
