WAITING ON GOD ISN’T PASSIVE. BELIEVING THAT IS WHY SO MANY KINGDOM ENTREPRENEURS STAY STUCK.
If you’ve been telling yourself: “I’m just waiting on the Lord…” but your business hasn’t moved in months, and you keep asking for more confirmation when God has already spoken…
Sis. We need to talk.
Because truly waiting on God is biblical. But spiritualizing hesitation? That’s a trap.
This episode is is about disentangling real waiting from spiritual delay, so you can stop stalling and start stewarding what God has already revealed.
Because this isn’t a faith problem. It’s a stewardship problem.
What This Episode Covers (Without the Fluff)
In Episode 16, I break down what “waiting on the Lord” actually means (biblically), and why so many women unintentionally use it as a reason to avoid movement.
Here’s what we cover:
✅ Why “waiting on God” often becomes a cover for fear, perfectionism, or disappointment.
✅ The real definition of wait upon the Lord (Isaiah 40:31) — and why it’s active, not passive.
✅ The difference between waiting on the Lord vs. waiting for God to do something while you do nothing.
✅ Why clarity doesn’t come before movement — it forms through it.
✅ How to stop strategy-hopping and start building with God in process.
✅ Why your past “failures” may have been training grounds for what you’re building now.
✅ What to do when you don’t want to build the wrong thing (without waiting forever).
The goal of this episode isn’t to make you feel called out. It’s to get you gloriously unstuck with Biblical truth, a little “tough” love, and practical wisdom.

The Truth Most Women Are Avoiding
Most Christian entrepreneurs aren’t resisting God. They’re resisting the responsibility of faithful stewardship.
We’ve been praying for clarity while refusing movement. We’ve been asking for more confirmation while ignoring the last instruction.
And the truth is… This isn’t waiting on God. This is stalling.
Listen, I get it…Sometimes it’s because you’ve never done this before — so you want to get it perfect. Sometimes it’s because you have tried, and it didn’t work the way you thought it would.
So you back off. You pause.
You go looking for yet another new strategy. But here’s what I want you to remember:
God doesn’t only speak through downloads. He also speaks through process. He walks with you while you build. And if you won’t move, you won’t ever know what comes next.
What Waiting on the Lord Actually Means
Have a look at what Hebrew word for wait in Isaiah 40:31 means.
It does not mean “sit still until something from God falls out of the sky.” It means to bind together, to expect, to gather, to be attentive.
Which is why the clearest picture is this:
Waiting on the Lord is like a waiter waiting on a table. Active. Ready. Listening. Responding —
“Lord, what are you ordering?”
“What do you want me to build next?”
“How do you want me to steward this?”
“What do you want me to learn from what didn’t work?”
“What needs to change?”
That is waiting on the Lord. And it produces strength because it produces movement.
🎯 Your Activation Step for This Week:
Grab your KBP notebook and spend time with the Lord on this question: “Where have I been waiting — stalling — when God has already asked me to steward?”
As you journal, look for:
- Places you keep asking for “one more confirmation”.
- Places where God already revealed a next step, but you keep hesitating.
- Places where structure (not prayer alone) is the missing piece.
Then write down:
- What you’re avoiding.
- What you already know you need to do.
- The next 3 steps you can take to move forward with God this week.
