Will you be filled with His Spirit?
At a time when it feels like the resistance and oppression of the enemy are at an all time high against the Church, it can begin to seem as though the only answer is to step back and take your losses. But the Church was built to endure — Jesus said He would build His Church and the gates of hell wouldn’t prevail against it (Matthew 16:18). Jesus sent us His Spirit so we might be prepared to endure until the end. But will we be filled?
On this episode of The Positioned to Prosper podcast I’m sharing a message with you that I shared recently with the ladies at our last REVIVE Woman Girls Night Out. This is a message about finding resilience in the heat of the fight to continue waiting on the Lord, no matter what.
Is this a message you need today — how to be resilient in the fight even when the enemy is doing everything he can to wear you down and take you out? If so, I want you to grab your Bible, your journal and a pen, and . . . Let’s Go!
Scripture References mentioned in this episode:
Daniel 7:25 —
He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time.
John 5:2-9 —
Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, in Aramaic called Bethesda, which has five roofed colonnades. In these lay a multitude of invalids—blind, lame, and paralyzed. One man was there who had been an invalid for thirty-eight years When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be healed?” The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me.” Jesus said to him, “Get up, take up your bed, and walk.” And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked.
John 20:19-22 —
On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.
