1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
How are you doing with the will of God in Christ Jesus for you when it comes to rejoicing and giving thanks? Isn’t it crazy how we can clearly know what the will of God is for our life — it’s right there in the scripture! — and still struggle with choosing to do it? Even Paul grieved over this in Romans 6 and 7, right? So why is it that we can know what we need to do, but have such a hard time choosing it?
